Then join us for an epic ride from Bangalore to Mysore during the upcoming long Independence weekend (August 16th to 18th, 2024). Experience the thrill of riding with fellow bikers, digging up the rich stories behind iconic landmarks in Mysore, and enfolding a sense of freedom you won’t want to miss.

Mysore, also known as the Palace City of India, is located at the foothills of the Chamundi Hills. It is renowned for its heritage structures and rich culture. Our journey includes exploring Ramnagara’s history of importing yarn from China, visiting Channapatna’s toy factory, discovering the local attractions in Srirangapatna, commencing on a heritage walk in Mysore, admiring the backwaters of the Cauvery River basin, and visiting the famous temples of Melukote. This itinerary promises to turn your ride into an unforgettable experience.

Ride Itinerary

Total Ride Distance: 480 Kms approx.

Day 1: August 16th, 2024 (Friday)


6 AM: Assemble at Airlines Hotel, Bengaluru
7 AM: Depart from Bengaluru
On the way, visit Bangalore Fort, originally built by Kempe Gowda I and transformed by Tipu Sultan in the 18th century
8:30 AM: Arrival at Ramnagara
Explore Ramnagara’s rich history of silk production and ties with China
Breakfast at a local eatery
Visit Gaali Anjaneya Temple, a 600-year-old temple known for its unique depiction of Lord Anjaneya
10:30 AM: Arrival at Channapatna
Visit Channapatna Toy Factory, famous for its handmade eco-friendly lacquer wooden toys
12 PM: Depart from Channapatna
1:30 PM: Arrival at Srirangapatna
Check-in and lunch
Explore local attractions such as the fortress of Tipu Sultan, Gumbaz mausoleum, Tipu’s Summer Palace, and Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple
Dinner at the hotel


Day 2: August 17th, 2024 (Saturday)

8 AM: Depart from Srirangapatna to Mysore
Ride through the backwaters of the Cauvery River Basin and the KRS dam
1 PM: Arrival in Mysore
Check-in and lunch at the hotel
4-hour Royal Mysore Walk, including the Mysore Palace and a 125-year-old local fruit and vegetable market
Dinner at the hotel

Day 3: August 18th, 2024 (Sunday)


10 AM: Depart from Mysore to Melukote
Explore the ancient temple town, including Yoga Narasimha Swamy Temple and Cheluvanarayana Swamy Temple
1 PM: Lunch at a local eatery
2 PM: Depart from Melukote
5:30 PM: Arrival at Sri Ramanatha Cafe, Kengeri
Conclude the ride with selfies and goodbyes
